The back of the card reads: The various common names of the Notaden Bennetti are attributed to the distinctive cruciform pattern that may be seen on its back. This amphibian is generally known as the Crucifix Toad, but has been referred to as the Catholic fFrog and the Holy Cross Toad, the upper part of its body is olive, yellow or green, with dark brown warts or even black warts and scattered white, yellow or red spots on the cruciform area. It is a burrowing from usually found above ground only after rain. The Crucifix Toad is distributed int he central part of inland New South Wales and the interior of southern Queensland.
