Species: Table Mountain Ghost Frog (Heleophryne rosei)
According to the insert in the FDC: "The Table Mountain Ghost Frog, Heleophryne rosei, has a very restricted distribution on Table Mountain in the Cape Peninsula, where it inhabits forested gorges in wet mountain fynbos. The tadpoles are specially adapted for life in fast-flowing mountain streams and any interference with the flow of the water, such as the construction of reservoirs, planting of alien vegetation and afforestation, threatens their survival."

I think the distinguishing features between the sets of stamps issued in conjunction with Reader's Digest, below, are: 1) There is variation in species represented, and 2) In the first group (Scott 857a) the species names are written in Latin, and in the second group (867Hp) the species names are written in English. Most of the Reader's Digest labels are also marked with dates.
